However, don' t hesitate to call - even if your request is not within the time frame, as we could have last minute openings. Because our cakes are custom, we require our customers to call and/or come into the shop to place an order depending on the complexity of your request. Wedding cakes** Our wedding cake prices START at a base price of $3.00 per serving for butter cream iced cakes $6.00 per serving for fondant iced cakes. Depending on the complexity of your chosen design, and the time invested in its creation will determine the final price at your booking. Reservations are on a first come first serve basis. A fifty percent deposit of your order with a signed contract will ensure your date and delivery time. The balance will be due one week prior to your event date. Delivery- We deliver our wedding cakes if the bride’s cake is 100 servings minimum. Delivery is included in the price of the cake for the general Kansas City Mo area. We charge $5.00 for each 5” rd single layer flavor cake that will be paid at the tasting. 	Designer Sugar Cookies We make our cookies from scratch in a large variety of shapes for any occasion. Our cookies are a crisp buttery cookie hand decorated with a royal icing to achieve great detail. They are wonderful for party favors for any occasion. Our cookies are baked fresh to order so we need a weeks notice to fill your order. All orders must be placed the Saturday BEFORE you need them. We require a 2 dozen minimum. Yes we can handle large orders with the proper advance notice. Custom cutters for a special order can be done with a 4 week notice. All cookies can be wrapped at an extra charge. Please call for a price quote on all cookies and packaging. We have a large display in our shop. Nellie’s also offers many choices of tea cookies as well as other cookies such as chocolate chip, all with a two dozen minimum. *Nellie’s also offers cookie trays which are great for gift giving during the holidays, a hostess gift, and client gift. Wonderful for a buffet or luncheon.
